The Chapel is located on the first floor of the main building, directly above the library. It is accessible from the back entrance of the College and there is a lift for disabled visitors, staff, or students to access the chapel. The Chapel forms a central part of life on the campus and is used by students, friends of the College, staff, and visitors as a place for reflection, celebration, and devotion. Daily Mass is offered at the College in term time at 12.30pm and is open to everyone. There are also frequent evening services of an interdenominational nature hosted on specific evenings.
College celebrations (inaugurations, graduations, and days of special rememberance) are also hosted in the chapel which is round in form and can seat approximately 200 people.
For faculty and staff working at the College the daily Mass offers an opportunity to introduce a time for prayer and celebration. Mass is usually celebrated by one of the faculty.
For information about the use of the Chapel, or to contact the College Chaplain, please contact the Administrator for the School of Theology on: 011 380 9031.
