The College relies on news from its former graduates and a network of Friends who, not only support the academic endeavour through participation in the public lectures and other events, but also through donor funding, making possible the opportunities provided to students, both present and past. This network is critical to the College since it seeks to attract academics and students not only by dint of funding, but through reputation.

In 2008 we unveiled the portrait of the Founding President, Professor Edith Raidt, at a special Ceremony held for this purpose in December. In that same month we took receipt of the new buildings (lecture theatres) made possible by the very generous donations received from local and overseas donors.

We look to the Alumni of the institution (many of whom have been funded by similar generous donations by individuals and the corporates) to enable us to continue the proud tradition of St Augustine College, by staying in touch with us, with your news, and also by assisting us to continue to recruit among the finest students in South Africa, particularly those not able to access higher education as a consequence of financial need.
