Professor Marilise Smurthwaite holds The Bishop Fürst Chair of Applied Ethics in Catholic Social Teaching, where she teaches Business Ethics at postgraduate (Masters) level.

Dr Jimmy Mulanda Juma
(Senior Lecturer in Peace Studies)

Dr Mulanda Jimmy Juma is the Coordinator of Peace Studies Programme. Previously, he worked as the Coordinator of Dag Hammarskjold Centre for Peace, Good Governance and Human Rights in Zambia and as the Regional Peace Advisor for Southern Africa region with the Mennonite Central Committee. Dr Juma holds a PhD in Politics, Human Rights and Sustainability from Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Italy, and a Master of Commerce in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
