Entrance requirements to study
Application for admission
A person who wishes to be admitted as a student for the degree shall lodge his or her application on the College’s application form with the Registrar, submitting evidence of his or her academic, general or other qualifications.
Entrance test
All students must do an entrance test. This is a three hour test that offers you the chance to explain why you want to do this degree and then asks you to do a short comprehension on a passage of scripture and an academic text.
Tests are scheduled once every month in October, November and December and every week in January. Please contact the College for more details.
Who can take the tests?
Once you have applied to study at the College, a letter of confirmation will be sent to you.
Only candidates who have applied to study at the College are invited to take the admissions test.
Venue for the tests
All tests are held on campus at
53 Ley Road, Victory Park, Johannesburg.
If you cannot participate in a test at our venue, please contact the Assistant Registrar (Undergraduate Education):

What happens after the test?
Your tests will be marked by staff in the area of study you have chosen. The test score is used with your other school results to make a selection of students for the programmes that are offered. You will not receive the actual results of your tests, but, if you have been successful, then you will be notified of a place at the College before the beginning of the academic year.
