BCom (PPE)
Our aim is to equip you as a graduate to produce extended and critical analyses of the political and economic environments within which you will live and work. Our degree combines extensive range, intellectual depth and technical skills. As a graduate from the BCom (PPE) programme, you could expect to rise to high positions in the business world and in public life.
The Bachelor of Commerce (PPE) degree incorporates standard Bachelor of Commerce elements – introductory modules in Economics, Mathematics and Statistic, Accounting and Commercial Law. It has a compulsory major in Economics.
What makes the St Augustine degree different is that the remaining modules are in Philosophy and Political Science. One subject is studied for three years and the other for two. Also distinctive is the ‘integrative’ seminar at third year level which draws together the three principal disciplines in addressing contemporary issues.
